WAZA-ARI

Welcome to the WAZA-ARI homepage.
WAZA-ARI is a WEB system that quickly evaluates patient organ dose in CT Exposure.
This system was developed through a collaborative research by National Institutes for Quantum Science and Technology (QST), Japan Atomic Energy (JAEA), and Oita University of Nursing and Health Sciences.

Currently, operation and research and development are being conducted at QST.

WAZA-ARI was released as a trial version in December, 2012. And we expanded the function further in this system and released it as WAZA-ARIv2 on January, 2015.

WAZA-ARI version 2 was released on January 30, 2015, and WAZA-ARI version 3 was released on June 30, 2025.

  • June 30, 2025: We have renewed and released WAZA-ARI.

    The WAZA-ARI system has been renewed as version 3.
    Major changes
    • Until version 2, dose calculations were performed on the WAZA-ARI server. In version 3, dose calculations are now performed on the user's browser.
    • User registration is no longer required. As a result, functions such as registering dose data and dose calculation results have been removed.
    • WEB API services have been discontinued. (We plan to provide a local API in the future.)
